About Jennifer

Jennifer Peterson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA, and received her HHP from Mueller College in 1998 in Western Studies. For two years she was with the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club Radiant Health Massage Therapy practicing Massage. She was also with the Beauty Kliniek Aromatherapy Day Spa and Wellness Center in San Diego as the lead therapist for eleven years as the head of the Spa and Massage Department training massages therapists in different spa therapies from around the world.

Jennifer was in charge of developing and teaching a 80-hour spa program at the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, where she also taught Ayurvedic massage. In addition, she taught at Vitality College of Healing Arts, Meridian International School of  Health Sciences and School of Healing Arts.

She was a spa supervisor, lead therapist and manager for the Gaia Day Spa In La Jolla, and the lead massage therapist at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar resort Spa since 2010. She became a Certified Master Spa Therapist with ASTECC, Advanced Spa Therapy Education Certification Council, and a Dr. Vodder School Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapist. 

Jennifer has been teaching at a variety of holistic schools since 2006 specializing in Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, Ayurvedic Bodywork, Hydrotherapy/Thalassotherapy and Aromatherapy. She is a 25 year professional member of the AMTA, a licensed certified Massage Therapist with the CAMTC, and a Level 2 Professional Certified Aromatherapist with NAHA – the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy.

Currently Jennifer is both Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and Board Approved Continuing Education Provider with NCBTMB.
